Hi, I’m Leah, and I make fun wreaths!
I’m a full time photographer (you can check out my work here!), but when work is slow, I love to make ornament wreaths. I started making them because I wanted a colorful wreath for my front door last winter, and thought I could make one for less money than what was available in stores. I had so much fun making it, and then started thinking about wreaths all the time. I couldn’t fall asleep at night because I was too excited about all the wreaths I wanted to make! Things got out of hand, I made too many, and quickly ran out of space to hang (and store) them in our little house. I posted photos to social media just for fun, and people seemed to like them. Then people wanted to buy them, so I sold a few! I have more to sell, and I’m so happy you’re here to check them out!
I love maximalism, so I use colorful ornaments and disco balls when crafting my wreaths. I also love kitsch and toys - things like fake food, finger puppets, and miniatures, so you’ll see that represented in my work.
I design my wreaths to be playful. I think of them more as wall sculptures than wreaths, and my intention is to make people smile when they see them. They look great around the holidays, but they can also be hung year round. They also make great gifts - for the holiday lover, the dinosaur fan, or anyone who likes sparkly things!
Some of the wreaths are safe to hang outside, but most of them are delicate and can only be hung indoors away from extreme heat (so not a great idea to hang in/near a window that gets full sun). The listings indicate where a wreath can hang safely, and I’m happy to answer any questions you may have!
